- Give up on any practices related to awareness, ALL of them.
- Stay true to yourself in your everyday life, don’t engage in games (stalking according to Carlos Castaneda), denying your own history, etc.
- Make it your principle – when you dedicate yourself to a task, do it with full commitment.
- That’s all.
What’s the point of all this?
There are no direct paths to awareness that are connected to your consciousness and your body. That’s why all self-suggestions, whether in the form of thoughts or visual images, and all gymnastic exercises are ineffective when it comes to reaching awareness.
You can easily verify this.
Start telling yourself: “I live with awareness.” Repeat this statement over and over for 3 days, and then repeat the diametrically opposite statement: “I do NOT live with awareness” for the next 3 days.
You will undoubtedly notice that your behavior during the first 3 days differs from the following 3 days.
This observation confirms the direct link between your beliefs and your behavior. In fact, this is just a minor influence of awareness on the images one wants to show others.
When our awareness convinces itself to believe a certain statement and then subjects our body to that statement, this suggestion has nothing to do with awareness. It is merely an imitation of awareness. Sometimes this imitation is very successful.
Such imitations are so prevalent in our lives that we convince ourselves that we are conscious. As a result, over the past twenty years, a false image of conscious and enlightened individuals has been established in the public awareness.
The path to awareness has nothing to do with imitation, different techniques, and methods for attaining awareness. On this planet, there are places where attaining awareness is a natural way of life and a centuries-old tradition, without any methods or training.
Accumulating methods and practices in the pursuit of awareness actually distances us from it rather than bringing us closer.
Of course, one can hope that there are external forces that grant awareness, simply because one holds value for the universe, regardless of the path taken towards the goal.
But it can be confidently stated that the awakening of awareness happens independently of what a person thinks or imagines. How many paths can a person take in their life towards awareness? Is it possible to enter and exit a state of awareness at will? Or are we destined to endlessly walk the one and only possible path towards awareness without ever reaching it?
Awareness arises spontaneously in our everyday existence. The secrets of our universe are revealed to those who are truly conscious and don’t engage in awareness practices. When you dedicate yourself to a task, do so wholeheartedly.
