What is a healing retreat and how does it differ from the standard program?
The direction of “healing” is an emphasis on bringing the body into a healthy state. As a rule, a healing retreat is chosen by people who already have serious illnesses or serious dysfunctions of some organs that prevent them from living a full life.
Who do we take to healing retreats and what do we do during the retreat?
For the beginning: who we don’t take. If your request sounds like “cure me, and I’ll pay you”, a healing retreat is not for you. We don’t treat anyone. If you need treatment, welcome to official medicine. There you will find good medicines that will effectively remove the symptoms of the disease or even cure it completely.
“Then what are you doing?”
We don’t do it, but you do. First of all, you look for the cause of the disease and remove it. It sounds simple, but in practice it is hard work that can take months or even years. The disease is the top of the iceberg. Once it came to the disease, the cause is most likely buried somewhere deep. The correct flow of currents in the body could be disrupted, for example, in childhood. Over the years, the situation worsened until the flows were so distorted that it manifested itself as a disease.
The reasons for the disruption of energy flows are in ourselves. Maybe a person once received a psychological trauma and “blocked” the flow of energy in this area. Or maybe he performs a “blocking” action every day. Of course, as a rule, this happens unconsciously. There is some kind of subconscious program that is destroying your life, and you don’t even see it. In a healing retreat, you will make the “hidden explicit.” Plants will help you get to such depths of the subconscious that no psychotherapist can reach. You will find destructive programs, clean them up and learn to act in a new way. In fact, this is a deep work on the reconfiguration of thinking and behavior.
In the healing retreat, of course, medicinal herbs are also used, normalizing any processes in the body. The Amazon is home to the strongest plants on the planet. There are even plants that can successfully cope with what are called immune diseases and oncology. But for successful healing, your active participation in the process is necessary. Your work in the retreat will be based on the principle of:
I am responsible for my own state of health and only I can change it myself. The disease is not an accident, not the punishment of God, and not the machinations of enemies (bacteria, viruses, etc.), but a pattern. I am here to find the causes of the disease, to see what my actions led to it, to remove the cause and start acting another way.
“But bacteria and viruses exist! How can I take responsibility for my illness if it is caused by a virus, for example?”
Yes, bacteria and viruses exist. But they settle in a weakened body. You create by yourself a favorable environment for the life of parasitic organisms. And then they only accelerate the process of destruction launched by you.
What is the duration of the healing retreat?
Approximate duration is from 1 to 3 months. But everything is very individual. There are problems that are solved in a couple of weeks, and it happens that it takes six months or more, or several arrivals. In addition, after the retreat is completed, your work continues: the gained experience needs to be integrated into everyday life.
Will I be a healthy person after going through a healing retreat?
We will organize the most effective form of the retreat, select the plants that are needed for your specific case, direct, prompt, decompose, etc. But the result depends primarily on you. If you are ready to direct all your attention and energy to achieving the goal, leave “overboard” everything that hinders you, no matter how familiar, cozy or even pleasant it would be, and build a new life, then the retreat will be successful.
